E-Criminals at Large - Protecting Your Business

The Government’s coming Consumer White Paper will focus on tackling online fraud according to Affairs Minister Gareth Thomas.
The Minister has been talking to Trading Standards professionals in Manchester saying that more effective measures need to be put in place to protect businesses and consumers who use the internet to buy goods and services. Many find themselves victims to fraud and scams.
The White Paper will be published in the summer containing proposals for action against this.

Government Guarantee Scheme Success

The Business Secretary, Lord Mandelson, is welcoming the so far success of the Government Enterprise Finance Scheme which offers over 1,300 eligible loans that are collectively worth more than £145 million to be processed through the scheme.

SMEs have the most satisfied employees

Employees of SMEs are reportedly the most happy and satisfied in the UK. According to the Trades Union Congress, one in four employees of larger firms feel debilitated by low morale. However, for the small business workforce, satisfaction levels were significantly higher.
