FSB says Government Financial Pressure Could Cost Small Firms £800m a Year

Government plans could cost small firms £800m a year.
After blaming the Government for not doing enough to aid the floundering economy, the Federation of Small Businesses has now called for the Government to hold back on their plans to implement new legislation that could eventually cost the industry around £800 million a year.

The Federation of Small Businesses has hit out at the Government’s response to the economic crisis by saying that they view the measures that have been taken as a failure.
Through the economic downturn the Government has fallen back on their interest rate blanket as well as provided funding for firms around the country in an attempt to stimulate the economy back to its former glory.

As the news filters around the country that the interest rates are at historic lows, the Royal Bank of Scotland has announced that they are preparing to begin a £3 billion fund aimed at small and medium sized business lending.

The Federation of Small Businesses, after hearing that the Government is set to provide a £1.3 billion fund for small businesses, has announced that bank managers make good on the fund and supply the necessary money to the businesses that need it the most.

Unemployment rates are looking bleak this Christmas as Britain is expecting to have 2 million members of the public in the dole line over the festive season.
